Box contents

  • 100 Tommy Hilfiger men's sweaters
  • Possible shapes: crew necks, V-necks, quarter zips, buttoned shawl-collar cardigans, sleeveless vests
  • Possible fabrics: heavy cotton, cotton blends, wool
  • Possible details: embroidered flag, crest, trims and colour blocks, contrast ribbed collars
  • Assortment of sizes and models varies with stock; sizes often follow North American labelling
  • Gender: mostly men's, a few unisex or women's pieces possible depending on arrival
  • Weight: about 45 kg, bale repacked into cartons
  • Grade split: around 70% Grade A / 30% Grade B, an average that varies from one bale to the next.

Resale tips

Sort Grade A and Grade B as soon as the bale arrives. On knitwear, the call comes down to four points: pilling, moth holes, stretched collars and cuffs, shoulder seams. Make three piles: Grade A to clean, Grade B to repair, and pieces to move in small bundles.

Caring for knitwear

  1. Run a fabric shaver over each piece before washing and photographing: two minutes is enough to bring a tired sweater back to a clean look on camera.
  2. Wash inside out at 30 °C on a wool or delicate cycle, with a mild detergent and no fabric softener, which flattens the fibre.
  3. Close the zips and buttons on cardigans and quarter zips before washing so they don't snag the knit.
  4. Dry flat, never on a hanger or in a tumble dryer: a wet sweater hung up stretches, the shoulders deform and wool felts.
  5. Steam from a distance. An iron pressed on the knit glazes it and damages the flag and crest embroidery.

Resale strategy

  1. A listing already live in September gets seen before the November crowd: demand for men's knitwear starts with the first cool days.
  2. Sell shawl-collar cardigans, quarter zips and trimmed vests one by one, since they carry the value of the lot. Plain crew necks move better in small bundles of three to five.
  3. Name the shape and the detail in the title: "Tommy Hilfiger men's shawl collar cardigan", "Tommy Hilfiger quarter zip sweater", "Tommy Hilfiger sleeveless vest".
  4. Photograph the sweater flat in natural light, with a close-up of the embroidered flag and the neck label.
  5. Give flat measurements (chest width, length, sleeve): North American sizes don't map onto European ones.

Resale potential

Cost: €6.50 per piece.

Grade A Tommy Hilfiger men's sweaters of this type typically resell for €15 to €28 each.

Total potential on this bale: between €1,050 and €1,950 for a cost of €650. Indicative only: it depends on your sorting, your photos and your market.

Understanding our grades

Every box displays a badge indicating its composition. Here is what each grade means:

🟢 Grade A — good overall condition

Garments that meet professional second-hand standards: few or no visible flaws. Resellable after a simple wash and press.

🟡 Grade B — visible signs of wear

Usable pieces showing more pronounced marks of use: light stains, fading, fabric wear or minor flaws. Well suited to resale at an adjusted price, or after light reconditioning.

What each badge means:

  • Badge "Grade A/B" → around 80% Grade A + 20% Grade B.
  • Badge "Grade B" → 100% Grade B (no Grade A pieces).
  • Badge "Bale" → around 70% Grade A on average, a rate that varies from one bale to the next.

👉 Always refer to the badge shown on each box: it states the exact composition of that particular lot.

Compressed bales: what to expect

A bale is not a box. It is sold exactly as we receive it: press-compressed and strapped. We remove no pieces, we recompose nothing, and we do not wash.

  • Around 70% Grade A on average, against ~80% for a box. This is an observed average that varies from one bale to the next: as no re-sorting is carried out, the composition depends entirely on the incoming shipment.
  • The clothes arrive creased. This is the effect of compression and has no impact on the fabric: steaming is enough.
  • Washing and ironing are your responsibility before listing.
  • Neither brands, nor sizes, nor models are guaranteed piece by piece. What the product page describes is an average composition, not a certified item-by-item content.

This is the accepted trade-off for the lowest price per piece in our catalogue: less selection upstream, more reconditioning work, and the widest margin once that work is done.

The reality of second-hand

Like any garment that has already had a first life, some items show natural signs of use: softened fabric, less rigid finishes, small imperfections that come from washing and time. These characteristics are inherent to vintage clothing and part of the product's life cycle.

Our advice for getting the most from your resale

Before listing, plan for light care: washing, ironing, and where needed stain removal or a minor repair. This reconditioning work makes a clear difference to how the pieces present and how attractive they look.

To learn more about our grading system and the distinction between Grade A and Grade B, see our dedicated guide.

Sizes and photos

Each box includes a balanced mix of sizes, styles, and colors, depending on available arrivals.

The photos shown are non-contractual: they illustrate the type of products you may receive, without guaranteeing specific models, sizes, or colors.

Each lot is unique, guaranteeing a pleasant surprise with every order.

Fast & Flexible Delivery

Your sourcing shouldn't wait.

All our orders are shipped within 24 to 72 business hours.

Delivery time then depends on the chosen shipping method and destination.

After dispatch, delivery times are estimated at 1 to 4 business days in France and 2 to 4 business days in Europe.

Bale of 100 Tommy Hilfiger Men's Sweaters

Box description

The full Tommy Hilfiger knitwear range, from crew necks to sleeveless vests

This bale of 100 Tommy Hilfiger men's sweaters is built around the brand's knitwear, with shapes that can run from crew and V-neck sweaters to quarter zips, from buttoned shawl-collar cardigans to sleeveless vests with a red and navy trim. The bale holds an assortment of sizes and models that varies with stock.

Fabrics, finishes and signature details

Expect heavy cotton knit, cotton blends and wool pieces, with contrast ribbed collars, two-tone panels, welt pockets and dark buttons on the cardigans. The red, white and navy flag is easy to spot: embroidered on the chest or at the cuff, woven into the neck label, echoed in the trim of the vests or in the inner collar band. Some pieces also carry the brand's embroidered crest.

A value gap inside a single brand

Not every sweater resells at the same level. Shawl-collar cardigans, two-tone wool pieces, quarter zips and crest vests with a trim sit above the plain crew necks with a small flag, which form the base of the lot. Tommy Hilfiger is a name buyers recognise at a glance, whatever the shape of the sweater.

Cuts and sizes

Cuts are straight and masculine. Sizes are mixed as received, and labels often follow North American sizing, sometimes bilingual.

Resale season

Demand for men's knitwear follows a yearly cycle: it starts with the first cool days of late summer, builds through autumn and peaks from October to December, then tails off through the end of winter. Receiving the stock several months before that peak leaves time to sort, clean and photograph before demand is in full swing.
